Morning Juice Recipes – A Healthy Way To Start Your Day
Through my weight loss journey, I’ve tried it all! After watching “Fat, Sick & Nearly Dead”, I thought I could do just 2 weeks of ONLY juicing…. HA! My body was so starved, I felt worse than I did when I was eating all those processed and bad foods.
Now, don’t get it twisted, juicing is a great way to get lots of vitamins and nutrients, just by having a glass of fresh juice BUT you have to eat a balanced diet with it. Don’t starve your body! Your body needs protein and calories, so you can still have energy to function.
Here are some amazing juicing recipes that I enjoy every day!
Orange Blast Juice
Prep Time 6 mins 2 Servings You Will Need A Blender
The Great Ingredients You Will Need
2 cups of fresh carrots, peeled and cut into chunks
1 tsp of finely grated ginger
2 cups of cold water
2 tbs of freshly squeezed lime juice
3 cups of crushed or blended ice
In your blender, add carrot chunks, grated ginger, cold water and fresh lime juice. Top blender with lid, and blend ingredients on high until combined and mixture looks smooth.
In 2 glasses, add crushed ice about half way.
Pour blended mixture over ice and enjoy!
Sparkling Morning OJ
Prep Time 8 mins 2 Servings You WIll Need A Blender
The Fresh Ingredients You Will Need
2 cups of fresh squeezed orange juice
2 tsp of grated ginger root
2 tsp of turmeric
2 tsp of honey
1 cup of your favorite sparkling water ( I use Perrier Sparkling Mineral Water)
In your blender, combine orange juice, ginger root, turmeric and honey. Blend on high until ingredients are smooth.
*Optional- Strain mixture through fine mesh sleeve or cheesecloth.
Pour mixture in 2 glasses about 3/4 of the way and then add sparkling water to your glass.
Morning Hangover Juice 🙂
The Fantastic Ingredients You Will Need
1 cup of your favorite coconut water
1/2 cup of freshly juiced apples (about 2 apples)
1 sliced banana
2 kiwis (peeled and sliced)
First off, take your juicer and juice the apples until you have roughly 1/2 cup.
In your blender, add coconut water, juiced apples, banana, and the kiwis. Blend until mixture looks smooth.
Pour mixture into your favorite 2 glasse and cure that hangover 🙂
Early Morning Mango Juice
Prep Time 5 mins 2 Servings You Will Need A Blender
The Amazing Ingredients You Will Need
2 cups of peeled and cubed, fresh mango
3/4 cup of freshly squeezed orange juice
1 banana, sliced
1 1/2 tbs of lemon juiced
Combine all above ingredients in your blender and blend until nice and smooth.
Pour mixture into 2 tall glasses and enjoy!
