Protein is the #1 Nutrient

High protein intake is the best natural way to lose fat for many reasons, its best property is that it makes you feel full for longer. This powerful nutrient will boost your metabolism and reduce appetite over the day. There’s  420 fewer calories a day on a high protein diet.

Protein is the main frame to our bodies, protein is what makes muscles, tendons, our organs and skin. Protein is what makes hormones, enzymes, neurotransmitters and many molecules that work in different body functions.

It would be a bit difficult to determine the amount of protein intake for each individual, because there are lots of different things to consider when deciding how much protein a person would need. Things like how much activity you do, your age and any physical goals you’re trying to reach and your current health status. Ultimately, if you cut back on your sugars and starches you will lower your insulin and by doing so your kidneys will dispense more sodium and water out of your body. This will get rid of extra water weight and stop you from bloating.

People have loss up to 11 pounds in body fat and water weight in the first week from simply increasing there protein intake. With cutting back on sugars and starches and do a low calorie, high protein intake this can be done.

The Ketogenic diet is pretty much the same thing.

Whole Foods Will Help You Lose Weight

You have to stick to whole foods in your diet if you’re trying to successfully lose weight.  All the junk in processed foods fill your body with sugars and starches and which are the leading cause of heart disease, type 2 diabetes and cancer.

You don’t have to cut all sugars out of your diet, but you will have to watch your intake on them. Whole foods give your body the nutrients they need to function normally.

I big way to lose my fat was by making sure my cupboards and fridge were stocked with healthy, whole foods and snacks like fruits & veggies, hard-boiled eggs, unsalted mixed nuts, oatmeal, fat free yogurt  and so much more.  Avoid eating processed and canned foods as much as you can.

Water And Unsweetened Drinks

Water is a major part of losing weight. You have to stay off soft drinks, sugary fruit drinks, energy drinks and chocolate milk as much as possible. Drink things like unsweetened green tea, it’s loaded with antioxidants.

Green tea is one of the best fat burning drinks you can drink to increase weight loss. Green tea targets harmful belly fat and will burn up to 18% increasingly as you drink it regularly!

I would like to talk about black coffee also, with the studies today we have realized that there are more useful compounds that are naturally great for our bodies and its loaded with antioxidants.

Black coffee definitely helps with weight lose by increasing your energy levels and by doing that you burn more calories. Caffeinated coffee boosts your metabolism 2%-10% and will reduce the risk of Type 2 diabetes by 20%-50%. Quite amazing! Black coffee is very weight loss friendly.

Its one of the most natural ways to burn your fat fast! It’s proven that people who eat more fruit and veggies weigh less because of the low calorie count. You can eat as much as you want, taking in all the nutrients and fiber.

Don’t be worried about the sugars in real fruit, they are good sugars and your body does need them. Stay away from added sugars because they are far worse and are not whole foods.

  • Many people are struggling to lose weight because they don;t have the right information on how to do it. Thank you for laying it all out here.

Increasing protein intake and cutting down on sugars, unhealthy fats and starches are great tips to consider. I also do not agree that you need to totally eliminate sugar in your diet but you have to minimize your intake while eating more healthy foods such as fruits and vegetables.

I’m glad you mentioned water as a major factor in losing weight. I know for a fact that drinking at least 2 liters daily and with the proper timings will aid in weight lose.

By the way, what do you think about having 100% grape smoothie everyday? Since grapes have natural sugars, is there a danger to consuming a glass of it daily?

    • Hi there Alice!

Thanks for taking the time to read over my website! I think your question about the grape juice smoothie is a great take and idea on a new healthy smoothie and i will be trying some new recipes to find the best one for people to have daily.

I feel like you should switch up your daily smoothies tho, to give your body an array of great and healthy vitamins each day. Considering, grapes are made up for 81% water, so your should add some other healthy fruit like oranges, packed full of vitamin C, to boost your daily smoothies!

Thanks again Alice, for the great commen!

      Cheers
